There were 2,718 students enrolled in Elizabethtown Independent School District in the 2023-24 school year, 1.2% more than the previous year, according to the Kentucky Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 50.5% of them were boys, and 49.5% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, making up 62% of the Elizabethtown Independent School District's total enrollment.

Elizabethtown Independent School District roughly covers seven schools within Hardin County and has a main office in Elizabethtown.

Among those schools, Elizabethtown High School recorded the highest enrollment of 855 students in the 2023-24 school year.
