March 23rd marks our third annual Chamber Banquet and Awards Dinner. We are excited to announce this year's award categories. Business Member of the Year, Outstanding New Member, Outstanding Service to the Community, Small Business of the Year, and the Jim Kimbell Award. The Jim Kimbell Award is named after our first director and celebrates an individual who has contributed to the growth and advancement of the Meade County Chamber of Commerce for an extended period of time.
Nominations forms will do out Friday, but for now here are some of our past awardees.
2020 Oustanding New Business - Lumber Jack's Lodge, Small Business of the Year - Rivertown Spirits, Oustanding Service to the Community - WesBanco, Business Member of the Year - Meade County RECC, and the Jim Kimbell Award - Bill Corum.
2021 Outstanding New Business - Nucor Steel Brandenburg, Outstanding Small Business - Webbs Butcher Block, Outstanding Service to the Community - Marie Barr, Business Member of the Year - Ray's Ford, Jim Kimbell Award - Gerry Lynn.
2022 Outstanding New Business - The Venue at Roberts Family Farm, Outstanding Small Business - A Robin's Nest, Outstanding Service to the Community - Meade County Schools, Business Member of the Year - The Main Street Creamery, and the Jim Kimbell Award - Barbara Proffitt.
