Description

AUDUBON ARTS and OVAL are joining forces for a new exhibit in 2020, called Peace in the Valley, to be displayed at Audubon Museum February 27 - April 7.

All Tri-state and regional artists are invited to take part in this exciting new venture, each exhibiting up to two pieces of original artwork. Mediums accepted will be oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, pen & ink and mixed media. "Peace in the Valley" is an exhibition that communicates the spirit and essence of peace. Ideas/words to think of to spark inspiration: calming, tranquility, harmony, cordiality, positivity. Some examples: A tranquil fall or winter landscape; A portrait of a child sitting in his grandmother's lap, holding his favorite blanket; Ducks calmly paddling across a lake; A soft abstract, using free forms and shapes to build harmony. Use your imagination!
