Roaming Studio has had lots of requests for kids classes offered after school hours.  Painting Animals is good for beginning through intermediate painters and is structured just like our earlier day homeschool offering. more advanced classes and private studio sessions can be arranged by appointment.

This four week class will give each student the opportunity to practice multiple skills while completing a painting each week. The first three weeks the painting format will be guided with animal choice and step by step process facilitation. The final week will be the best opportunity for each artist to choose their favorite animal and practice the skills we have covered. Everyone will have ample individual instruction.

Each week we will paint a different animal.  Techniques and skills that will be covered include:

Understanding shape and space

Developing body

Shade, tint, tone

Creating various textures with a paintbrush

Color theory & development

The session price is $125/ student. This class will have limited space available in to ensure success for each student. The class meets on Thursdays at 11:15, January 23 & 30, and February 6 & 13, 2020 at 3:30 until 4:40 p.m.
