JOE PRATHER FOR CONGRESS COMMITTEE: Census Bureau: 77.92% of people in Hazel were old enough to vote in 2017

Joe prather for congress committee issued the following announcement on Nov 17.

Of the 385 citizens living in Hazel in 2017, 300 were old enough to vote as of Aug. 2, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Kentucky Business Daily.

The bureau reported that 144 of those people were female and 156 were male.

An agency of the U.S. Federal Statistical System, the Census Bureau is responsible for compiling statistical facts about the American people, places and economy. Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.

Statistical data for 2018 will be released later this year.
