The Meade County Fiscal Court has announced it will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The session is scheduled to take place in the courtroom of the Meade County Courthouse at 516 Hillcrest Drive in Brandenburg, Kentucky. The meeting is open to the public.
The agenda begins with standard procedures including the call to order, pledge of allegiance, invocation, roll call, a public session, and committee reports.
During the business portion of the meeting, court members will review and consider approval of several items such as minutes from the February regular meeting, monthly financial statements, claims and transfers, departmental reports, and personnel actions.
Additional topics include an Arbor Day Proclamation and employee recognition from the Information Technology Department. The Clerkâs Office excess fees report will also be presented along with other matters related to county departments and operations.
The Fiscal Court plans to address several bids: awarding a contract for a Solacom communications system refresh for county dispatch; opening bids for an Emergency Medical Services vehicle; and considering bids related to Detention Center inmate commissary services, food service contracts, and phone services.
Other agenda items involve consideration of a resolution related to Kentucky House Bill 557. The court will also discuss acceptance of a bid for constructing a Road Department building and conduct the first reading of Ordinance 2026.01 concerning Otter Creek Parking Management Program.
Additionally, the Meade County Planning and Zoning Commission is set to present the second reading of rezoning application 2025R-093. This application requests changing zoning classification from A-2 (agricultural) to R-4 (residential) for property located on Gumwell Road.
