Meade County Fiscal Court announced on April 14 that it is accepting applications for a full-time Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) position with Meade County EMS.

The recruitment aims to fill an essential role in emergency medical services, which is important for ensuring timely and effective care in the community.

Applications can be requested by emailing payrollclerk@meadeky.gov or by visiting the Meade County Finance Office at 516 Hillcrest Drive, Brandenburg, Kentucky. Those interested may also call the finance office at 270-422-3967 for more information. Completed applications must be returned no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The fiscal court said that in-house applicants will receive first consideration.

All applicants will be required to undergo drug testing and a background check as part of the hiring process. The fiscal court emphasized its commitment to fair employment practices by stating that “Meade County Fiscal Court is an Equal Opportunity Employer.”
