Vine Grove law enforcement officers grappled with 64 crimes against persons in 2020, according to the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS).

This equals five per month in 2020.

Crimes against persons include simple assaults, aggravated assaults, intimidations, kidnappings and abductions, fondling offences and rapes.

Of all types of crime tracked by the NIBRS, simple assault was the most popular crime handled by the Vine Grove office.
